Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes activities that are prohibited on the network and services of VTA Cloud Global ("VTA Cloud", "we", "us"). It is part of, and incorporated into, our Terms of Service. By using any VTA Cloud Service, you agree to this AUP and are responsible for the conduct of anyone who uses your account or services. We may update this AUP at any time.

1. Prohibited content

You may not use the Services to store, host, transmit or link to:

• Content that is illegal under any applicable law, or that promotes illegal activity.
• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that exploits or endangers minors. This results in immediate termination and reporting to the authorities.
• Content that infringes the copyright, trademark, patent, trade-secret or other intellectual-property rights of others.
• Malware, viruses, ransomware, trojans, or tools designed to compromise systems or harvest credentials.
• Phishing pages, fraudulent or deceptive content, or content used to impersonate others.
• Content that is defamatory, harassing, threatening, or that incites violence or hatred.

2. Prohibited activities

• Network attacks — launching or participating in denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS) attacks, port scanning, intrusion attempts, or unauthorised access to any system.
• Spam — sending unsolicited bulk email (UBE/UCE), operating mailing lists without verified opt-in, or any activity that gets our IPs listed on blocklists.
• Resource abuse — using shared resources in a way that degrades service for other customers, including excessive CPU, memory, I/O or process usage on shared plans.
• Fraud — carding, money laundering, Ponzi or pyramid schemes, or any deceptive financial activity.
• Prohibited crypto activity — cryptocurrency mining is not permitted on shared hosting or where it abuses resources; check the relevant product terms.
• Open services — running open mail relays, open proxies or open DNS resolvers that can be abused by third parties.

3. Email policy

You may only send email to recipients who have agreed to receive it. We may apply reasonable sending limits to protect our IP reputation. Repeated spam complaints or blocklisting caused by your activity may result in suspension.

4. Security & your responsibility

You are responsible for securing your own applications, scripts, CMS installs and passwords, and for keeping them updated. Compromised accounts that are used to attack others or send spam may be suspended without notice until the issue is resolved.

5. Enforcement

If we believe your use violates this AUP, we may, at our discretion and depending on the severity: issue a warning, throttle or filter traffic, suspend or terminate the affected Service, or remove the offending content—with or without notice and without refund. Where the law requires, or where there is a risk to people or systems, we will act immediately and may report the matter to the relevant authorities.

6. Reporting abuse

To report a violation of this AUP—such as spam, phishing, malware or network abuse originating from our services—email abuse@vtacloud.com with as much detail as possible (URLs, IP addresses, headers and timestamps). Copyright complaints should follow our DMCA & Abuse Policy.
